Quebec Grain-Fed Veal Sirloin Roast, Singapore Style

  • 750 g (1 1/2 lb) Quebec Grain-Fed Veal sirloin roast
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) Hoisin sauce
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) ketchup
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) soy sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Line the bottom of an oven-proof pan with aluminum foil.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the marinade ingredients.
  4. Coat the roast with the marinade and place it in the pan.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted in the middle of the roast reads 65°C (150°F).
  6. Remove roast from oven and let rest for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove string and slice the grain-fed veal sirloin roast.
  8. Serve with vegetable rice vermicelli.
